La Bamba (1987)

Rated: PG-13

“La Bamba” was the first Spanish song to reach number one on American music charts, and it’s upbeat and catchy. The story behind the musician who wrote and performed it, however, is shrouded in tragedy. This film follows the story of Richie Valens as he rose to fame and then unexpectedly died at the young age of 17.

To celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month, Luis De La Cruz Son Caribe Latin Dance will be onsite to get everyone in the Latin music spirit.
