Virtual: Winston-Salem/Forsyth County CROP Hunger Walk 2020
October 18, 2020 @ 2:00 pm - 3:30 pm
The COVID-19 pandemic has sent the world a curveball that we never could have imagined. As we talked with our community partner agencies, the Winston-Salem/Forsyth County CROP Hunger Walk planning committee realizes how vital the Walk is to fighting hunger in our community and around the world. The Walk will still go on Sunday, October 18, 2020. The only change is instead of everyone walking at Corpening Plaza, the Walk will be a virtual event. The current need for food may lead to the largest number of neighbors going hungry in our community and across the globe. Please join us as we walk to end hunger one step at a time!
What does a “Virtual” Walk look like?
CROP Hunger Walkers are encouraged to walk in their neighborhoods, their greenways, their church parking lot, and even on their treadmills! The location doesn’t matter, nor the length – we’d love to just see you out walking to end hunger one step at a time!
