The Big Chill 2022

On Sunday, July 17, The Shalom Project will be hosting The Big Chill 2022, our annual fundraiser, which will feature an ice cream competition and community tasting, live music, a kid zone, food trucks, local artisan booths and ice cream floats! Our fundraisers will be sitting on ice while they make calls to community members with the goal of raising as much money as they can for The Shalom Project.

The Shalom Project hosts various programs that support the underserved in Winston-Salem. Our Medical Clinic, Food Pantry, and Clothing Closet programs all serve the basic needs of the community free of charge. In order to continue to provide these services, as well as our long-term programs that address systemic poverty, we rely on donations and fundraising from events like The Big Chill.

The event will occur in the Winston Junction Market space, Wiseman Brewing and the parking lots in between. Join us and cool down on a hot summer day.
