Patterson Centennial Block Party

Fair Witness, Lill’ Dipper, Salon 7, Wagner Appliance, and Pink Rhino are hosting a Block Party on July 24th for the Centennial Anniversary of our building! We will be closing Patterson Ave. between 3rd and 4th from 12:00 pm until 11:00 pm for games, bands, and the Finals of World Fantasy Karaoke!  There will be special treats from the Lill’ Dipper and prizes as well.
Games will be held from 12-4 and will be bolstered by snacks from Lill Dipper and drinks from Fair Witness. Then Karaoke and bands kicking off with Speak N’ Eye, Bolmangani, Withdrew, Spirit System, and Tim Poovey with the Karaoke Finals taking place between sets. The top three finishers of our 20 contestants will each win a special prize!
First Place: a 1991 Yamaha Wave Runner LX WR650P Jet ski and trailer!
Second Place: a fully functional vintage Avocado refrigerator!
Third Place: a 1980’s boombox!

Crowd response as interpreted by modestly inebriated judges:
-Sumptuousness (Look in your heart and you’ll know!)
-Your whole “vibe”. (Moves, costume, diva hands, and such.)
-Good times? (Don’t come in here with a 9-minute torch song…Keep the party going!)*
Categories we will not judge on:
-Best Singer
-Craziest high note
-Aesthetic Beauty
