Defund, Transform, Abolish: (Re)Imagining Justice Summer Workshop Series

The Triad Abolition Project is excited about coming together as a community and learning more about the practice of abolition and transformative justice with a summer workshop series. Their goal is to contribute to the community-building needed to support new methods of accountability that move away from carceral systems of punishment and expand communities of care. Throughout the workshop, engage with readings, art, and reflective journal prompts that will help build our collective and individual capacities in the practice of abolition and transformative justice processes.
The workshop will meet seven times in total, every other Saturday 12 pm-3 pm beginning May 8th and ending on July 31. Remote followers can expect to receive email updates throughout the workshop series with access to our discussion questions, transformative justice writing and arts prompts, and our curriculum.
