“Dress for Success” Drive up and Drop Off Donation Event for Little Black Dress Initiative

The Junior League of Winston-Salem is partnering with Dress for Success to collect dresses and business attire to help women in our community secure financial stability at the end of Little Black Dress Initiative,  a week-long awareness and fundraising campaign that harnesses the power of social media and doing something “a little different” in order to educate people about local issues that Leagues work on in their communities.
Drop off donations to Dress for Success (375 Buxton St. 27101) from 10 am-2 pm on Saturday, February 27. Volunteers will be ready to unload your car. This will be a drop off event held outdoors.
Dress for Success will be collecting formal and business casual attire that women can wear to job interviews and during their first weeks at work. DFS also needs full-size toiletries, copy paper, medial scrubs, khaki pants, polo shirts and other attire for hospitality jobs. They also welcome designer clothing and handbags to be auctioned off in a future fundraiser to support working women in our community.
