Innovation & Cinema: Sing 2

Free| It’s got animated animals. It’s got groove-worthy hits. It’s got themes of teamwork and gumption, coupled with a few good hurdles to overcome. Oh, and it’s something the whole family will love watching together.
What more could you ask of the first Innovation & Cinema screening of the year? Get cozy on the lawn of Bailey Park and enjoy belting out the words to all the songs in Sing 2. (Being on pitch is totally optional. The main goal: Have a blast!) Thinking about bringing the kids to this one? Plan to arrive early to join singer-songwriter and Carolina native William Nesmith for a kids’ singalong featuring tunes from Sing 2! To make sure you can focus on singing instead of making dinner, come hungry and visit local vendors set up in the park. Food and beverages will be available for purchase starting at 7 p.m., and the singalong fun will begin at sunset. Outside alcohol is prohibited, but outside food is welcome. Plan to bring your own seating–a blanket or low-backed chair so everyone can see well. If your dog comes along, please make sure they’re on a leash.  In the case of inclement weather, changes to the screening will be made by 4 p.m. on the day of the event.
